Small creative teams and the future of work

A quick hit to day on the future of work:

As I continue to build a company and lifestyle, I’m inspired by wise words from Naval Ravikant. I’m particularly inspired by the concept of working in small teams and doing meaningful work in specific sprints and missions, versus ongoing same-same work in large companies over many years.

Working for a ten-person company or twenty-person company is way better than working in a thousand-person company or a ten thousand-person company.

This idea that we’re all factory-like cogs in a machine who are specialized and have to do things by rote memorization or instruction is going to go away.

We’re going to go back to being small groups of creative bands of individuals setting out to do missions and when those missions are done we collect our money, we get rated and then we rest and reassess until we’re ready for the next sprint.
